The operations team has shown the capacity to\nmanufacture to tight specifications and low impurities, based on the\nC-Tech electrolyzer system. We are now fielding product calls from\nVanadium Flow Battery OEMs looking for a dependable, Made-in-Canada\nsource of high-purity vanadium electrolytes.\n \n \n \n \n Peter Besenovsky, P.Eng., the CEO of our German\nsubsidiary, Vanadiumcorp GmbH, is attending the International Flow\nBattery Forum (IFBF®) this week in Glasgow, UK. Peter reports from\nthe floor of IFBF that Variable Energy Resources (VER) such as large\nsolar and wind projects are facing severe curtailment on the\nelectrical grids of Europe, especially Germany. As the share of VER\nquickly rises, tackling the stability of the grid and full use of\nrenewable energy will require an exceptionally large complement of\nlong duration energy storage – a strength of the vanadium flow\nbattery.\n \n \n \n \n Peter leaves the conference for meetings in Europe to\nintroduce VanadiumCorp to industry and government and to negotiate our\nfirst round of electrolyte sales.\n \n \n Vanadium\nelectrolyte production is a key milestone for VanadiumCorp. Plant No.\n1 proves our capacity to build manufacturing plants and will provide\nsufficient electrolytes to develop our initial customer base.\n \n \n \n \n The Company's technical team completed scoping-level\nengineering for a 4 to 8 million litres per year plant. Upon securing\nofftake contracts, scoping indicates that about 18 months of detailed\nengineering, procurement and construction are required to open Plant\nNo. 2.\n \n \n \n \n Paul McGuigan, P. Geo., CEO of the Company, stated:\n \n \n \n \n \"VanadiumCorp has constructed\nits first electrolyte plant in less than 12 months using mostly\nin-house technical staff. We look forward to our next phase of\...
