About this update from Vanadiumcorp Resource Inc

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Jan. 22 /CNW/ - Apella Resources Inc. (TSX.V: APA); (Frankfurt\nSymbol: NWN) and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce the results of\nits channel sampling program which was recently completed on its 100-per-cent\nowned Lac Dore North Vanadium-Titanium-Iron Project. The Lac Dore North\nproperty encompasses 18 claims covering an area of approximately 300 hectares\n(741 acres), covering the Northeast extension of the renowned Lac Dore\nVanadium-Titanium-Iron Deposit, over a strike length of 2.6 kilometers (1.6\nmiles). A total of 60 samples were taken, representing a total length of\nsampling of about 90 meters and the results are as follows:\n\n\nVanadium values from 0.05% to 0.610%, which after conversion to V205,\nreturned values from 0.089% to 1.089%. The average grade of Vanadium Pentoxide\n(V205) is 0.55%. Titanium (Ti02) values range from 1.33% to 12.30%; the\naverage grade of Titanium (Ti02) is 6.40%. Iron (Fe) values range from 13.23%\nto 56.50%; the average grade of Iron (Fe) is 32.81%.\n\n\nThese results represent only a small part of the P1 Zone (G.O. Allard,\n1990) crossing Apella's claims, however they are compatible with results\nobtained by the previous owners of the claims. The channel samples did not\ncross the total width of this zone, therefore the Company's geologist\nrecommends stripping a stratigraphic section across the P1 Zone before\nundertaking an aggressive drilling program.\n\n\nDuring the Fall 2008 exploration program, Apella's field crew stripped\nand cleared off two large areas, covering several hundred square meters of\nmagnetite-bearing mineralization, as well as four smaller zones. The stripped\nareas cover part of the P1 Zone which is found at the base of the Layered\nSeries of the Lac Dore Anorthositic Complex. Normally this zone varies from 30\nto 90 meters in thickness. It is the only zone which contains economic values\nof Vanadium. The P1 Zone is made of an alternation of leucocratic ferrogabbro,\nmagnetite rich ferrogabbro, ferropyroxennite, magnetite rich pyroxenite and\nmagnetitites. The channel sampling cut part of this alternation like a\nhorizontal drill hole. It is consequently normal to obtain samples presenting\nrich and low Vanadium contents.\n\n\nOn one of the stripped areas, two Northwest oriented transversal lines,\nsituated 25 meters apart, were saw...
