[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 2082J ValiRx PLC 10 June 2014 \n\n \n \n10 June 2014\n \nValiRx Plc\n(\"ValiRx\" or \"the Company\")\n \nRe: Submission of application to progress VAL201 in human patient studies (\"CTA\") \n \nValiRx Plc (AIM: VAL), the life science company with a focus on cancer diagnostics and therapeutics for personalised medicine, is pleased to report that it has submitted an application to the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (\"MHRA\") for a phase I/II extended clinical study, or trial, of VAL201 in people with cancer. VAL201 is ValiRx's leading anti-cancer therapeutic candidate.\n \nThe Company and its team of clinical associates and advisors plan to conduct \"A Phase I/II, dose escalation study to assess the safety and tolerability of VAL201 in patients with locally advanced or metastatic prostate cancer and other advanced solid tumours.\" The study takes place at University College London Hospital when all the consents have been given.
