[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nFor immediate release: 0700hrs Monday 10 September 2007\n\n VALIRX PLC \n\n (\"ValiRx\" or the \"Company\") \n\n GeneICE - CRT Research Update \n\nValiRx (AIM: VAL), the cancer therapeutics company, is pleased to provide an\nupdate on the research programme being conducted with Cancer Research\nTechnology Limited (\"CRT\"), on behalf of Cancer Research UK, on one of the\nproprietary GeneICE compounds developed by the Company's subsidiary, Cronos\nTherapeutics Ltd (\"Cronos\").\n\nAccording to the initial results released to the Company by CRT, the GeneICE\ncompound appears to arrest the development and terminate the existence of\ncancer cells, confirming earlier pre-clinical studies conducted by scientists\nin other research centres.
