Neither this announcement nor any part of it shall form the basis of or be relied on in connection with or act as an inducement to enter into any contract or commitment whatsoever.\n \n \n \n \n \n 17 March 2023\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n UPLAND RESOURCES LIMITED\n \n \n \n \n (\"Upland\" or the \"Company\")\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sarawak February JTS Update\n \n \n \n Upland Resources Limited (LSE: UPL) is pleased to announce the February workflow update on the SK334 Joint Technical Study ('JTS') activity in Sarawak, Malaysia.\n \n \n It is the belief of the Upland Board of directors that the Company is unequally positioned in the region and that time and resources spent in adding value to the Sarawak SK334 JTS workstream have potential to generate significant returns for shareholders. \n \n \n Investors may also view details related to the Sarawak SK334 JTS workstream in the form of a Monthly Progress Report at the following link shortly:\n \n \n \n https://uplandres.com/presentations/\n \n \n \n In relation to this report, the Company notes the following highlights:\n \n \n \n Geological Study:\n \n \n \n ·\n Ongoing regional and local geology analysis.\n \n \n ·\n Successfully conduct\n ion of\n geological fieldwork on 16th to 24th February 2023.\n \n \n 5 representatives from UBO\n (\"Upland Big Oil\")\n and 2 representatives from PETROS participated in fieldwork\n covering\n both Limbang and Lawas district.\n \n \n 12 outcrop locations wer\n e observed, discussed and analys\n ed.\n \n \n ·\n 7 samples were taken to the laboratory for further analysis, which will be used to support, confirm and integrate into the overall interpreted model of the block's petroleum geology.
