PITTSBURGH, May 01, 2025--United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) reported first quarter 2025 net loss of $116 million, or $0.52 per diluted share. Adjusted net loss was $87 million, or $0.39 per diluted share. This compares to first quarter 2024 net earnings of $171 million, or $0.68 per diluted share. Adjusted net earnings for the first quarter 2024 was $206 million, or $0.82 per diluted share.
