Jamaica Update: Commencement of MBES Operations
United Oil & Gas Plc has commenced Stage 1 of its Surface Geochemical Exploration programme on the Walton Morant Licence offshore Jamaica, with Multibeam Echosounder operations now underway. This high-resolution seabed imaging aims to refine targets for subsequent heat flow measurements and piston coring, with initial geochemical results expected approximately one month after the offshore survey's completion in mid-February. The programme is designed to confirm the presence of a working offshore petroleum system, which would materially de-risk prospectivity and support ongoing farm-out discussions. Disclaimer*
