("Unigold" or the "Company")\n(TSX-V: UGD) is pleased to give an update on the corporate affairs and the\noperations plan for 2007. Unigold will spend $3.5 million on its 2007\nexploration program. Throughout the year, Unigold will continue to carry out\nsurface exploration of the properties, collect soil & stream samples, along\nwith trenching and intensified diamond drilling. In addition, Unigold will\ninitiate an airborne geophysical survey starting at the end of March 2007 with\nFUGRO Airborne Surveys Corp. The survey is to be conducted on the Neita and\nSabaneta properties and will be flown at 200-metre flight gridlines. The\nsurvey will encompass approximately 2,600 line kilometres and will entail\nmagnetic, electromagnetic and radiometric readings. Unigold has mandated SGS\nMinerals Services (Lakefield) for an investigation into cyanidation of the Los\nCandelones ore and to establish the parameters for a possible heap leaching of\nthe oxidized ore of Los Candelones. Thus far, a variety of 10,000 samples are\nin the process of analysis with SGS.\n\n\nBased on the realised results obtained to-date, Los Candelones could be\ncharacterized as a fully developed epithermal system with a barium/antimony\nupper zone and a vuggy quartz lower zone corresponding to the high grade zone\nfound in trenching, reporting 45 g/t of gold over 11 meters with the vuggy\nquartz vein grading 105 g/t over 1 meter. Since the actual drilling campaign\nis targeting the lower vuggy quartz zone, the next coming months should be\nvery exciting and should provide a constant flow of new information.\n\n\nUnigold completed a successful field visit from March 21 to March 23,\n2007 of its Neita Property. Unigold management and geologists hosted a group\nof 13 industry professionals on a technical property tour of its large\nconcessions in the Dominican Republic.\n\n\nUnigold's chairman Dr. Talal A. Alshair, senior management and field\ngeologists participated in the property tour. The geological team is working\non exploration, drill targeting, further developing the Neita Property and\nmore specifically, the expansion of its Los Candelones Gold Deposit.\n\n\nAt the end of the pr...
