[{"type":"text","content":"\n Ukrproduct Group Ltd\n13 November 2007\n\n UKRPRODUCT GROUP LIMITED\n\n (the \"GROUP\")\n\n INTEGRATED SET OF EQUIPMENT FOR WHEY PURIFICATION, CONDENSATION AND\n CRYSTALLISATION IS INSTALLED AND FULLY OPERATIONAL AT STARKON PLANT\n\n\nAs part of the continuing enhancement of the Group's manufacturing capability,\nan integrated set of equipment for whey purification, condensation and\ncrystallisation has been purchased and installed and is now fully operational at\nthe Group's Starkon Plant. Liquid whey, a main by-product of the hard-cheese\nmaking process, can now be processed at the Starkon site to yield dry whey. This\nwill replace substantially all the dry whey previously purchased from a third\nparty for use in the production of processed cheese at the Group's Molochnik\nPlant. Dry whey is also a viable commercial product in its own right, with\nstrong on-going demand both domestically in Ukraine and internationally. In\naddition, the environmental implications of the installation are beneficial as\nthere is no residual disposal requirement due to the full processing of the\nby-product.\n\nThe equipment cost £240,000 to acquire and install and allows the production of\nup to 130 tonnes of dry whey per month when at maximum capacity.
