EBRD notification of loan deferral fee accrual

Ukrproduct Group Limited (AIM: UKR) announces that it has received notification from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("EBRD") that Ukrproduct owes the EBRD a further EUR 2.4 million, principally relating to loan deferral fee charges for the period from 24 October 2016 to 2 December 2024. This brings the aggregate balance owed to the EBRD to approximately EUR 9.7 million, inclusive of principal, interest and fees as at 2 December 2024.

The Group has been in dialogue with the EBRD since 2021 to potentially restructure the loan, and accrued interest and charges, and discussions continue. At present, the EBRD has taken no action to accelerate repayment of the accumulated loan.
