Purchase of 2028 ZDP Shares

The Board of UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 10 July 2024 the Company purchased in the market 75,000 2028 ZDP Shares issued by its subsidiary, UIL Finance Limited, at a price of 97.44p per 2028 ZDP Share.  The 2028 ZDP Shares, which are redeemable on 31 October 2028, will be held as an investment.

Following this purchase, UIL Limited has a holding of 658,735 2028 ZDP Shares and the total number of 2028 ZDP Shares in issue remains unchanged at 25,000,000.
