Médiasdiversité is intended as much for media industry decision-makers as for members of ethnocultural and Aboriginal communities and persons with disabilities who are interested in media.In the presence of the Assistant Deputy Minister for Integration from the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles du Québec, Ms. Claire Deronzier, and TVA's Pierre Bruneau, the $5,000 Médiasdiversité bursary was awarded to the Spanish-language Canadian television channel Nuevo Mundo Television.
