[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: JSP (TSX-V)\n\nCALGARY, March 15 /CNW/ - Jasper Mining Corporation has compiled all\navailable results from percussion and diamond drill programs completed by\nprevious operators on ground currently covered by the Company's 100% owned\nISINTOK property. The property consists of 1,678 ha (4,146 acres), located\napproximately 25 km west-southwest of Summerland, BC and 20 km north of\nHedley. Data have been compiled for a total of 54 drill holes, comprised of \n11 diamond drill holes (of which 4 were recently completed by Jasper (see\nPress Releases dated Jan. 18 and Feb. 17, 2006) and 43 percussion drill holes.\nIn general, the results consistently document weakly to relatively strong\nanomalous copper +/- molybdenum +/- gold +/- silver over a considerable\nportion of the property. The ongoing objective of the Company's program is to\nlocate, and define, a copper-molybdenum gold porphyrystyle deposit similar to\nthe Brenda Mine, located approximately 40 km north of the Isintok property,\nwest of Peachland. \"The Brenda mine began production in early 1970 with\nmeasured geological (proven) reserves of 160,556,700 tonnes grading 0.183 per\ncent copper and 0.049 per cent molybdenum at a cutoff of 0.3 per cent copper\nequivalent (eCu (equal sign) % Cu + (3.45 x % Mo))\" (BC MINFILE 092HNE047)\n(Note: reported prior to implementation of, and therefore not compliant with,\nNational Instrument 43-101).\nGiven the above as the deposit model for the Isintok property, then\nJasper requires approximately 1830 ppm copper and 490 ppm molybdenum, or the\ncopper equivalent (as stated above). Therefore, the following tabulation of\ndrill hole results includes all documented mineralized intercepts to date\nhaving greater than or equal to 50 metres grading greater than or equal to \n400 ppm copper and/or greater than or equal to 100 ppm molybdenum. In\naddition, there are a number of relatively short (3-20 m) intervals having\nhigh grade mineralization (greater than or equal to 2000 ppm copper) tabulated\nas well. Similar high grade intervals grading between 500 and 2000 ppm copper\nwere documented but not included in the following tabulation.\n\n>\n\n\n","length":18364,"tagName":"div"}]
