About this update from Tuktu Resources Ltd

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: JSP (TSX-Venture)\n\n\nCALGARY, April 9 /CNW/ - Jasper Mining Corporation (the "Company") has\nreleased all significant analytical results from the 2006 exploration program\non its 100% owned Isintok property. The property comprises approximately 3,007\nha (7,433 acres or 11.6 square miles), covering the drainage divide between\nMcNulty and Isintok creeks. The property is located west of the Okanagan\nValley in south-central British Columbia, approximately 27 km west-southwest\nof Summerland and 20 km north of Hedley.\n\n\nPrevious work by Anaconda Canada Exploration Ltd. and Canex Aerial\nExploration Ltd. resulted in identification of possible reserves of 22,994,985\ntonnes grading 0.067% molybdenum disulfide (0.040 % molybdenum) and 0.161 %\ncopper (Note: reported prior to implementation of, and therefore not compliant\nwith, National Instrument 43-101). Of particular significance to the Company's\nevaluation of the property is that "... reserves are based on 14 widely-spaced\ndiamond and percussion-drill holes drilled by Anaconda Canada Exploration Ltd.\nin 1981. The 14 holes average about 90 metres in depth with many of the holes\nstopped in ore grade material. The area encompassed measures about 1000 by 300\nmetres with a vertical mineralized interval of 27 metres" (MINFILE 092HNE100).\nThe documented fact that many of the holes stopped in material considered to\nbe "ore grade", at that time, suggests strong potential to increase the size\nand possible grade of the reported resource.\n\n\nThe objective of the Company's exploration program continues to be\ndirected toward location, and definition, of a copper-molybdenum plus/minus\ngold porphyry-style deposit similar to the Brenda Mine, located approximately\n40 km north of the Isintok property, west of Peachland. "The Brenda mine began\nproduction in early 1970 with measured geological (proven) reserves of\n160,556,700 tonnes grading 0.183 per cent copper and 0.049 per cent molybdenum\nat a cutoff of 0.3 per cent copper equivalent (eCopper (equal sign) % Copper +(3.45 x%\nMolybdenum))" (BC MINFILE 092HNE047) (Note: reported prior to implementation\nof, and therefore not compliant with, National Instrument 43-101). Therefore,\nusing the above grades as a model for the property, the Company requires\nmineralized ...
