About this update from Tuktu Resources Ltd
[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: JSP (TSX-Venture)\n\n\nCALGARY, April 20 /CNW/ - Jasper Mining Corporation (the "Company") is\npleased to release analytical results from samples for holes IS-08-27, 28, 29,\n32, 37 and 46 from its 100% owned Isintok property. The property comprises\napproximately 2,839 ha (7,015 acres or approximately 11.0 square miles),\ncovering the drainage divide between McNulty and Isintok creeks. The property\nis located west of the Okanagan Valley in south-central British Columbia,\napproximately 27 km west-southwest of Summerland and 20 km north of Hedley.\n\n\nA total of 54 drill holes have been completed by the Company on the\nproperty to date, with 38 of those holes completed as part of the Company's\nhighly successful 2008 exploration program. Of the holes released to date,\nfull or partial results have now been released from 24 of these holes. The\nobjective of the 2008 drill program was to evaluate Cu-Mo porphyry style\nmineralization corresponding with coincident surface soil and Induced\nPotential (geophysical) anomalies.\n\n\nThe holes from which the results (below) were obtained were drilled from\nthree pads located on the western flank of the coincident anomaly, drilled\neast at variable azimuths and inclinations. As such, the holes are interpreted\nto be moderately to highly oblique to mineralization controlled by steeply,\ngenerally west dipping structures.\n\n\nManagement wishes to emphasize that although the project is currently\nbeing evaluated as a Cu - Mo porphyry deposit, numerous very high grade\nmolybdenum intercepts have been documented, with single sample intervals to\n4.985% Mo (8.315% MoS(2)) over 0.32 m and composite intervals grading 0.055%\nMo (0.092% MoS(2)) over 44.58 m. Local high grade values for silver (40.30 g/t\nover 1.18 m), Au (2.591 g/t over 1.18 m) and tungsten (0.25% over 1.12 m) have\nalso been documented.\n\n\nIn particular, determination of a copper equivalency value ("Cu. EQ.")\nindicates that consistent silver values throughout many of the individual\nholes reported to date contribute significantly to the overall Cu. EQ. grade\nfor these holes. In management's opinion, the contribution of copper +/-\nmolybdenum +/- silver and, to a lesser degree, gold values over significant\nthicknesses has resulted in preliminary Cu. EQ. grades of interest over\np...
