About this update from Tuktu Resources Ltd

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: JSP (TSX-Venture)\n\n\nCALGARY, Dec. 17 /CNW/ - Jasper Mining Corporation (the "Company") has\nreceived additional analytical results on 5 additional drill holes from its\n100% owned Isintok property. The property comprises approximately 2,839 ha\n(7,015 acres or approximately 11.0 square miles), covering the drainage divide\nbetween McNulty and Isintok creeks. The property is located west of the\nOkanagan Valley in south-central British Columbia, approximately 27 km\nwest-southwest of Summerland and 20 km north of Hedley.\n\n\nA total of 54 drill holes have been completed by the Company on the\nproperty to date, with 38 of those holes completed as part of the Company's\nhighly successful 2008 exploration program. Of the 2008 holes, full or partial\nresults have now been released from only 15 of these holes to date. Therefore,\nresults for a further 23 drill holes have yet to be received. The 2008 holes\nwere completed to evaluate sub-surface, porphyry style mineralization\ncorresponding to coincident surface soil and Induced Potential (geophysical)\nanomalies.\n\n\nThree of the five holes released today (Holes 31, 38, 42 and 43) were\ndrilled from the west flank of the coincident anomaly, and again, were\noriented east to northeast into mineralization, controlled by steeply,\ngenerally west dipping structures. Therefore, they are interpreted to have\nbeen drilled at moderate to high angles to the controlling structures.\n\n\nHole 50 was drilled between the coincident surface soil and IP anomaly\ntested by holes 1 through 49 and Hole 54, which was the first hole drilled to\ntest a second IP anomaly identified on the Company's ground IP survey in 2006.\nHoles 50 and 54 were again drilled to the east at an inclination of -45\ndegrees and are, therefore, interpreted to have been drilled at a moderate\nangle to the controlling structures.\n\n\nManagement wishes to emphasize that although the project is currently\nbeing evaluated as a Cu - Mo porphyry deposit, numerous very high grade\nmolybdenum intercepts have been documented, with single sample intervals to\n4.985% Mo (8.315% MoS(2)) over 0.32 m and composite intervals grading 0.055%\nMo (0.092% MoS(2)) over 44.58 m. Local high grade values for silver (40.30 g/t\nover 1.18 m), Au (2.591 g/t over 1.18 m) and tungsten (0.25% over 1.12 m) have\nalso ...
