[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: JSP (TSX-Venture)\n\n\nCALGARY, March 27 /CNW/ - Jasper Mining Corporation (the "Company") has\nreceived final analytical results from the 2006 exploration program on its\n100% owned Isintok property. The property comprises approximately 3,007 ha\n(7,433 acres or 11.6 square miles), covering the drainage divide between\nMcNulty and Isintok creeks. The property is located west of the Okanagan\nValley in south-central British Columbia, approximately 27 km west-southwest\nof Summerland and 20 km north of Hedley.\n\n\nA total of 16 diamond drill holes were completed during the 2006 field\nseason in two phases, holes 1 through 10 during the summer and 11 through 16\nin the fall. The holes were intended to continue the Company's evaluation of\nsub-surface mineralization in an area identified from previous drill programs\nin 1982 and 1976-1979. The diamond drill program was previously reported (see\nPress Releases dated Dec. 12 and 13, 2006).\n\n\nHoles 15 and 16 were collared approximately 50 m south and north,\nrespectively, of percussion hole PD-11, which documented 42.7 m of\n0.28% copper and 315 ppm (0.0315%) molybdenum. PD-11 is tentatively\ninterpreted to have been drilled down, and within, a mineralized vein system\nand, therefore, to have been mineralized along virtually the entire length of\nthe hole. Holes 15 and 16 were intended to document the same mineralized vein,\ndrilling inclined holes from the west side of the road to the east, allowing a\ndetermination of its thickness and orientation.\n\n\nHole 14 was drilled in an attempt to define one or more mineralized\nsystems identified in, and farther to the north of, previous drilling. The\nhole did, indeed, intersect three visually identified, separate and distinct\nmineralized intervals, associated with stronger alteration.\n\n\nThe Company has recently received and reviewed the results of holes ISIN-\n06-14 to 16.
