[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: JSP (TSX-V)\n\nCALGARY, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - Jasper Mining Corporation (the \"Company\") is\npleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the Crown Grants\non its Vowell Creek / Ruth Vermont Creek property.\nThe Company acquired the 6 Crown Grants known as the \"Ellen D\",\n\"Buckskin\", \"Robert E. Burns\", \"Nugget\", \"Rider\" and \"Highland Mary\"\n(announced in Press Release dated July 19, 2005) which was approved by the TSX\nVenture Exchange on September 28, 2005. These claims were originally granted\nby the Crown in 1894.\nThe Company also acquired the 13 Crown Grants known as the \"Lion\",\n\"Unicorn\", \"Mazeppa\", \"Charlotte Fraction\", \"Ruth No. 2\", \"Eureka\", \"Wild\nHorse\", \"White Horse\", Golden Bluff\", \"Agnes Fraction\", \"Black Horse\", \"Agnes\"\nand \"Syenite Bluff\" (announced in Press Release dated August 30, 2005) which\nwas approved by the TSX Venture Exchange on September 28, 2005. These claims\nwere originally granted by the Crown in 1896.\nAlthough a number of adits and considerable prospecting has been done on\nthese claims over the last 110 years, no serious exploration, drilling or\ngeophysics has been carried out on the claims. These Crown Grants were\noriginally acquired because they all had considerable surface mineralization.\nIt is intended to carry out some work on these properties during the 2006\nfield season.\nThe acquisition of these claims represents surface and mineral\noccurrences within or at the edge of the Company's Vowell Creek / Ruth Vermont\nCreek properties.\n\n The TSX Venture Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept\n responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.\n\n\n\n\n\n","length":1721,"tagName":"div"}]
