The\nproperty consists of two mineral tenures, comprising a total of approximately\n802 ha (1,982 acres).\nThe property is underlain by strata correlated to the uppermost\nProterozoic Kitchener, Van Creek and Nicol Creek Formations to the lower\nCambrian Cranbrook Formation. A series of northeast trending faults cross-cut\nthe property, resulting in a series of northeast-southwest oriented fault\nslices which have subsequently been cross-cut by younger north-northwest\ntrending normal faults. As a result, the stratigraphy has been duplicated\nwithin a number of separate and distinct fault panels within, and surrounding,\nthe property.\nA preliminary diamond drill program in 2005 documented anomalous copper\nmineralization within gabbro sills mapped as hosted within the Kitchener\nFormation. Copper grades up to 0.324% over 17.97 m were reported (Jasper Press\nRelease dated August 16, 2005).\nAs part of the 2006 field program, an airborne geophysical survey was\nflown on the Proximal property by Aeroquest International. Coincident\nelectromagnetic and magnetic surveys were flown, comprised of 206 line\nkilometres with a 100 m line spacing. Preliminary data from the survey have\nbeen received by the Company.\nA preliminary review of the raw, unprocessed data suggests a number of\ntrends, both on the electromagnetic and magnetic surveys. As a general\nobservation, the trends from the two surveys do not appear to be coincident.\nIn addition, several localized anomalies, having high amplitude responses, are\nevident from the data. On the basis of an initial review of the data, an\nadditional mineral tenure has been acquired to cover these anomalous trends\nand localized anomalies. The Company expects to receive the final levelled and\ninterpreted geophysical data in the next few weeks.\nThe objective of the exploration program on the Proximal property is to\nlocate additional copper mineralization. At this time, it is uncertain whether\ncopper mineralization documented to date, including native copper, is\nassociated with gabbro lithologies (as a lithological control) or along ...
