The system is a practical and highly effective\nway to decontaminate heat sensitive, non-lumened instruments if endoscope\nwasher-disinfectors, sinks or water supplies are not available. Importantly, the\nTristel Wipes Traceability System enables users to conform to the Chief Medical\nOfficer's Directive in 'Winning Ways' (Working together to reduce Hospital\nAcquired Infection), December 2003, which states that staff will ensure that\nthere is an audit trail for each recycled item.\n\n\n\nThe Tristel Dual Foam Sterilant is used for the high-level disinfection of\nsurfaces in high risk areas of hospitals. The Tristel Dual Foam Sterilant\ndelivers Tristel's proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry directly to surfaces.\nChlorine dioxide is highly effective in destroying all types of bacteria\n(including bacterial spores, tuberculosis and MRSA), fungi and viruses and is\none of a small group of sporicidal agents that is safe and easy to use.\n\n\nTristel's core product range of instrument disinfectants has become the market\nleader in the UK Acute & Private Hospital sector.
