Trifast strengthens Main Board
with two appointments
Trifast plc, the global assembly partners, announces that Steven Tan and
Steven Franklin have been promoted to the Main Board, further strengthening
the Group's management team.
Steven Tan, 47, joined the Group when his company Formac Technologies was
acquired by Trifast in 1997. Since the acquisition, as Managing Director for
Trifast's Asia operation, Steven has been instrumental in the subsequent
acquisition in Malaysia and in setting up Trifast's distribution company in
China. Steven will take Board responsibility for Trifast's entire Asian
operation and its future development.
Steven Franklin, 39, spent a number of years within the Wurth organisation, a
major European distributor, becoming Managing Director of one of its key
subsidiaries.
Steven has experience of working throughout Europe and will take Board
responsibility for TR Europe.
Malcolm Diamond, Chief Executive, Trifast said:
'The wealth of international experience that both these men bring to the Main
Board will contribute greatly to the continuing development of Trifast's
worldwide network. We are delighted that Steven Tan and Steven Franklin have
become an increasingly integral part of our management operations.'
There are no details required to be disclosed in relation to paragraph 16.4(b)
of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
