(TSX: TCW) (\"Trican\" or the \"Company\") announced today that Mr. Alexander J. Pourbaix will retire as a member of the Board of Directors on December 31, 2019 to focus on his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cenovus Energy Inc., as well as his other commitments as Board Chair at Mount Royal University and incoming Board Chair at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP). Mr. Pourbaix has served as a member of the Board since May 2012, was chair of the Company's Human Resources and Compensation Committee and a member of the Corporate Governance Committee.Dale Dusterhoft, President and CEO of Trican, commented: \"I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Alex over the last 7 years. Not only is he a great business leader but he has played a pivotal role in guiding the Company through the tumultuous times faced in the oil and gas industry of late.
