Tres-Or extends new kimberlite breccia discovery in Quebec

About this update from Tres-or Resources Ltd.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTSX Venture: TRS\n\n\nTORONTO, June 18 /CNW/ - Tres-Or Resources Ltd. ("Tres-Or" or the\n"Company") has extended our new discovery of kimberlite in Quebec, which we\noriginally reported in a news release dated June 13, 2008. The second drill\nhole intersected kimberlite breccia from beneath overburden at 45 m (32 m\nvertical) to 130 m (81 m vertical), at an inclination of 45 degrees. At 130 m,\nthe drill hole entered metasedimentary country rock until the end of the hole\nat 147 m. It was drilled from the north, and thus the kimberlite-metasediment\ncontact at 130 m defines the southern wall of the body, which appears to be\npipe-like in shape. Like the discovery hole, this second drill hole entered\nkimberlite directly from overburden, and thus the north boundary of the\nkimberlite remains open.\n\n\nThe intersected rock is interpreted as serpentine and calcite kimberlite\ncarrying visually identified pyrope garnet, chrome diopside, phlogopite, and\nmantle peridotite xenoliths, as well as abundant limestone xenoliths (most\nless than 10 cm across), some of which carry fossils.\n\n\nA third drill hole has begun in the center of the body, drilling\nvertically to a target depth of 250 m in order to determine whether different\nkimberlite phases may be encountered at depth.\n\n\nFollowing completion of this vertical drill test, a second target of\nsimilar geophysical character will be tested approximately 5 km to the\nsouthwest. Kimberlite from each phase identified in the detail core logging\nfrom the first three drill holes will be tested for microdiamonds and\nindicator mineral chemistry, with results reported when available later this\nsummer.\n\n\nDiamond Discoveries (Canada) Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary or Diamond\nDiscoveries International Corp., has a Letter of Intent agreement to earn up\nto a 50% interest in certain of the Notre Dame du Nord, Quebec properties by\nspending a total of $1,500,000 in exploration. Tres-Or is the project\nOperator.\n\n\nHarrison Cookenboo, Ph.D, P.Geo. a consulting geologist and a qualified\nperson by the standards of National Instrument 43-101, has examined the drill\ncore in the field and reviewed the contents of this news release. Dr.\nCookenboo is responsible for the design and the implementation of the field\nprograms.\n\n\nON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR...
