Tres-Or Resources Ltd ("Tres-Or") is pleased to provide an update on field exploration activities on the Company's Duparquet Gold Property located within the Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec. The current exploration program is focused on defining drill targets on the Duparquet Property which is contiguous to and extends 3 to 15 km east from the Beattie and Donchester past producing mines. These past-producing gold mines are currently being re-evaluated by Osisko Mining Corporation (OOTC:OSKFF) (TSX:OSK) and Clifton Star Resources (TSXV:CFO) Inc. with a 120,000 m drill program (see Clifton Star news releases dated September 13, 2010 and July 2, 2010).
The on-site fieldwork includes stripping and channel sampling in conjunction with detailed geological and structural mapping on priority drill targets. A primary goal is to extend splay faults from the Porcupine-Destor fault and the Beattie and Donchester past producing mines across the Tres-Or property. Tres-Or has recently completed a survey of over 130 kilometers of high-resolution ground magnetic lines covering the western half of the Duparquet Property which has been integrated into our detailed geographic information system (GIS) data base. Preliminary interpretation of the ground magnetic data has identified priority magnetic anomalies including a strong anomaly within 75 m of an historical gold intersection from the 1940s based on Quebec government reports (GM 00695). This historical drill intersection is reported as returning 1.7 grams per tonne gold over 1.16 m.
Tres-Or's field program is identifying targets for a fall drilling program on the Duparquet Property.
