Tree Island Wire Income Fund Announces Distribution

RICHMOND, BC, Oct. 12 /CNW/ - Tree Island Wire Income Fund announced
today that a distribution of $2,739,800.00 ($0.125 per unit) will be paid on
November 15, 2005 to unitholders of record on October 31, 2005. This
distribution includes interest on the subordinated notes of Tree Island
Industries Ltd. ("Tree Island") paid by Tree Island for the 31-day period
ending October 31, 2005 and dividends paid by Tree Island.
The breakdown of this distribution will be $0.0852222 per unit of
interest, $0.0301968 per unit of dividends and $0.0095810 per unit of return
of capital.
