[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n \n \n 24 June 2022\n \n \n \n \n \n TREATT PLC\n \n \n (\"Treatt\" or \"the Company\")\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Chairman Succession and Board Change\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Treatt, the manufacturer and supplier of a diverse and sustainable portfolio of natural extracts and ingredients for the beverage, flavour and fragrance industries, announces that following an extensive selection process Vijay Thakrar is appointed Chairman Designate and will succeed Tim Jones, who has informed the Board of his intention to retire as Chairman of the Group at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 27 January 2023.\n \n \n Vijay joined the Board of Treatt as an independent Non-executive director on 1 September 2020. He is currently a Non-executive director on the Boards of Alpha FX Group plc and RSM UK Holdings Limited and Non-executive Chairman of Alumasc Group plc.\n \n \n \n \n \n Tim Jones, Chairman of Treatt, commented \"I am delighted to announce that Vijay will succeed me as Chairman of Treatt next year. Vijay has substantial experience from a broad business and non-executive career covering a number of large international organisations, as well as extensive knowledge of Treatt.\n \n \n \n \n \n I am extremely proud to have served as Treatt's Chairman and to have been part of the Company's evolution and development and look forward to the remaining months of my tenure.\"\n \n \n \n \n \n Vijay Thakrar said \"I am delighted to be succeeding Tim as Chairman of Treatt and to be working with the Executive Leadership Team led by our Chief Executive, Daemmon Reeve, to continue to build on the successful growth of the business. Tim has been an outstanding Chairman, having seen the Company through transformational change and substantial growth since his appointment in 2012 and he will be greatly missed.
