Christopher is a chartered accountant and currently the Managing Director of Costa Coffee, part of Whitbread PLC, of which he was Group Finance Director from 2005 to 2012. He was Group Finance Director of Woolworth Group PLC from 2001 to 2005 and previously held senior roles in both finance and commercial functions in Comet Group PLC and Kingfisher PLC. He was also a non-executive director of HMV Group PLC from 2006 to 2012*. \n \nRobert Walker, Chairman of Travis Perkins plc, commented:\n\"We are delighted to secure the appointment of Christopher Rogers as a director.
