Mason Graphite Appoints Tayfun Eldem as Chairman of its Board of Directors

Eng., current Director of the\n Company, as Chairman of the Board.\n\n\nBenoît Gascon, CEO of Mason Graphite commented, \"We are very pleased\n that Mr. Eldem has accepted the position of Chairman for our Board. We\n have seen tremendous progress at the Lac Guéret project in the last six\n months and we believe his development and operational experience will\n greatly benefit the Company as we continue to move the project towards\n production.\"\n\n\nMr. Tayfun Eldem currently serves as the President and CEO of Alderon\n Iron Ore Corp. He has worked for the Iron Ore Company of Canada\n (\"IOC\"), a Rio Tinto subsidiary, for more than 20 years, including\n three years as a Director on the joint-venture Board. During this\n period, Mr. Eldem held many senior roles including Vice President,\n Expansion Projects & Engineering and Vice President, Operations &\n Engineering. Mr. Eldem was accountable for the development and delivery\n of a nearly $2.0 billion program of green and brown fields expansion\n projects. Prior to his Projects role, Mr. Eldem was responsible for all\n of IOC's Operations including the mine, process plants, rail and port\n facilities. Mr. Eldem led a team of about 2,000 to deliver two\n consecutive years of record annual material movement at the mine and\n record ore processing through the concentrator. Mr. Eldem holds a\n Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University along with\n Operations & Strategic Management Certificates from Richard Ivey School\n of Business and London Business School.\n\n\nMr. Eldem replaces Mr. Tyrone Docherty as Chairman of the Board, however\n Mr. Docherty will continue to serve Mason Graphite as Vice-Chairman.\n\n\nAbout Mason Graphite\n\n\nMason Graphite is a Canadian mining company focused on the exploration\n and development of its 100% owned Lac Guéret graphite property, which\n is located in northeastern Québec near the main service center of\n Baie-Comeau.  The Lac Guéret graphite property currently hosts a\n National Instrument 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource of about 300,000\n tonnes at 24.4% Cgr in the Measured category and 7.3 million tonn...
