[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nSUDBURY, ON, June 4, 2014 /CNW/ - Transition Metals Corp. (XTM – TSX.V)  (\"Transition\", \"the Company\"), is pleased to announce initial assay results from the 2014 diamond drill program completed at the company's Sunday Lake Project, located near Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Sunday Lake Project is a joint venture between Transition and Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Implats) of South Africa. The results are from the first three holes submitted of a five hole, 2,550 metre drill program designed to further assess the extent and continuity of platinum rich mineralization reported in January (see news release dated January 27, 2014). Two of the three holes intersected significant platinum rich mineralization including the highest grade material yet encountered. Hole SL-14-003 returned two mineralized intervals including a 15 metre interval containing 2.84 g/t combined precious metals (Pt+Pd+Au or PGMs) that included a 1 metre interval containing 9.75 g/t PGMs.\n\nTable 1: Summary of Assay Results\n\n\n\n\nHole\n\n\nFrom (m)\n\n\nTo (m)\n\n\nLength (m)\n\n\nPt (g/t)\n\n\nPd (g/t)\n\n\nAu (g/t)\n\n\nPGM (Pt+Pd+Au) (g/t)\n\n\nCu (%)\n\n\nNi (%)\n\n\nS (%)\n\n\n\nSL-14-002                                         \n\n\n412.00\n\n\n420.00\n\n\n8.00\n\n\n1.13\n\n\n0.46\n\n\n0.08\n\n\n1.67\n\n\n0.13\n\n\n0.52\n\n\n0.74\n\n\n\nincl.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSL-14-002                                         \n\n\n417.00\n\n\n420.00\n\n\n3.00\n\n\n1.80\n\n\n0.68\n\n\n0.14\n\n\n2.62\n\n\n0.22\n\n\n0.90\n\n\n0.94\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSL-14-003                                         \n\n\n389.30\n\n\n401.00\n\n\n11.70\n\n\n1.79\n\n\n0.94\n\n\n0.06\n\n\n2.79\n\n\n0.12\n\n\n0.37\n\n\n2.49\n\n\n\nincl.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n...
