About this update from Transense Technologies Plc
[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nTransense Technologies plc (\"Transense\" or the \"Company\")\n\nTransense is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Translogik\nLimited (\"Translogik\"), has recently taken a further order for a number of Truck\nTyre Inspection Kits from Goodyear Dunlop for its FOS (Fleet Online Solution)\nMobile programme. This relationship began 18 months ago when Goodyear Dunlop\nbegan integrating the Translogik tyre inspection probe to work with its FOS\nsystem.\n\nThe FOS Mobile solution allows fleet operators to gather real-time tyre data\nfrom its technicians and field service engineers using the Translogik inspection\ntools. This data is then wirelessly transmitted back to the FOS servers,\nproviding operators and account managers with instant access to tyre fleet data.\nHaving accurate and reliable data on tyre wear and pressure provides early\nwarning of under-inflation or poor tyre fitment which is the primary cause of\nroadside breakdowns and premature wearing, enabling early intervention and\nprevention - saving time and money.\n\nStuart Budden, Technical Support Manager for Goodyear Dunlop commented: \"The FOS\nMobile project continues to grow and we have been delighted with the performance\nof the Translogik inspection tools out in the field. Subsequent to the initial\nUK rollout, the system is now being used by more than 100 operators across\nEurope; we expect this number to more than double this year\".\n\nGraham Storey, CEO of Translogik commented: \"We have enjoyed working in\npartnership with Goodyear Dunlop to deliver Europe's finest mobile fleet\ninspection system. The combination of highly professional fleet maintenance\nstaff and cutting-edge wireless inspection technology has enabled the FOS Mobile\nSystem to deliver a significant increase in the quality of customer service. A\nrapid return on investment has been achieved through the improved inspection\nprocess, leading to fewer roadside breakdowns and a reduction in tyre\nexpenditure\".\n\n\n\nFor more information, please contact:\n\n\nTransense Technologies plc    Tel: +44 (0) 1869 238 380\n\nGraham Storey, Chief Executive\n\n\nBrewin Dolphin - Nomad\n\nNeil Baldwin           Tel: 0845 213 4726\n\n\nHybridan LLP - Broker\n\nClaire Noyce  Â...
