Recipients are selected based on their strategic vision and\n leadership, the financial success of their organization, and their\n commitment to their community.\n\n\nIsabelle Marcoux has been Chair of the Board of Transcontinental Inc.\n since 2007, and prior to that was Vice President, Corporate Development\n for the Company from 2004. In the latter capacity, she was responsible\n for all strategic planning processes as well as mergers and\n acquisitions. Ms. Marcoux is also a Member of the Board of George\n Weston Limited, Rogers Communications Inc. and Power Corporation of\n Canada. She is also a director of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan\n Montreal and is well known for her deep commitment to the community.\n Among other things, in the past year Ms. Marcoux chaired the Tel-Jeunes\n 2012-2017 fundraising campaign and will serve as Patron of Honour for\n the 2012 Children's Ball of the Montreal Children's Hospital\n Foundation.\n\n\n\"On behalf of the 18,000-member community of women of WXN, we\n congratulate each of the winners we are honouring in this 10th edition of the Top 100 awards,\" said Women's Executive Network founder, Pamela Jeffery. \"They\n are an extraordinary group of female leaders who reach out to our\n community and truly embody the qualities WXN strives to recognize.
