[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n18 March 2011\n\n Tullett Prebon plc\n \n SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES IN NEW YORK AND LONDON \n\n John Abularrage to be Chief Executive Officer the Americas \n\n Martin Lynch to be Chief Operating Officer the Americas \n\nLondon and New Jersey, 18 March 2011: Tullett Prebon plc, (\"Tullett Prebon\")\nannounces that John Abularrage has been appointed to become the next Chief Executive\nOfficer (\"CEO\") the Americas, succeeding Marcus Bolton. Martin Lynch has also\nbeen appointed into the new created regional management role of Chief Operating\nOfficer (\"COO\") the Americas.\n\nBoth John and Martin join the Company from Collins Stewart Inc. John has been\nCEO of that business since January 2009, having joined Collins Stewart in 2001\nas a Director and becoming Head of Equities at that firm's London office in\n2005. Before joining Collins Stewart John was an equity salesman at ABN Amro.\nHe was educated at Georgetown University School of Business gaining a BSc in\nBusiness Administration. Martin has been Chief Financial Officer of Collins\nStewart Inc since July 2008 having joined that firm as a Risk Manager in 2002\nand becoming Finance Director of that firm's Capital Markets division in 2006.\nHe was educated at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom where he\ngained a BA in History and is a Chartered Certified Accountant.\n\nThe effective dates for these appointments are still to be confirmed.\n\nCommenting on the appointment, Terry Smith Chief Executive Officer of Tullett\nPrebon said \"Our Americas business remains one of our most valuable. In\nappointing John and Martin into these important roles we are increasing our\nregional management capability at an important time as we continue to rebuild\nour Americas business. As we reported in our Preliminary Results for 2010\nearlier this month the Company has made excellent progress in re-establishing\nits presence in all of the major product areas in North America.
