[{"type":"text","content":"Total Metals commences Exploration Drilling on its Critical Minerals Electrolode Project - Red Lake, Ontario\n(TheNewswire)\n\n\nJanuary 29, 2026 – TheNewswire - Toronto, ON - Total\nMetals Corp. (“Total\nMetals” or\nthe “Company”) (TSX-V:\nTT) (OTCQB: TTTMF) (FSE: O4N) is pleased to announce it has commenced\nexploration diamond drilling on its Electrolode critical minerals\nexploration project located in Red Lake, Ontario. The project hosts\nnumerous Zn-Cu-Ag-Au volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) style systems\nthat have been explored by previous operators.\n\n\nThe drill program, consisting of a minimum of 5,500\nmetres, has been designed for multiple purposes including confirmation\nand expansion of historic results, testing multiple electromagnetic\n(EM) conductors, quantifying variation of metal ratios to vector\ntowards higher value copper-gold mineralization, testing interpreted\ncross-structures with potential to host gold mineralization, and\ndetermining whether other critical elements including gallium,\ngermanium and indium are potentially additional value-added\nby-products. \n\n\nThe first part of the program is targeting the Arrow\nZone; adding some additional holes within the existing zone and\ntesting for continuity with the adjacent Garnet Zone. The program will\ncontinue testing a series of discontinuous EM conductors along a 6\nkilometre trend. Maxwell plate models of these conductors are being\ndeveloped to assess targets and assist in drill-hole design. The next\narea being targeted is at the southwest part of the property where a\ncomplex fold pattern is evident from recent 3D inversion modeling of a\ndrone magnetic survey covering this part of the property. This area\nhas been the focus of historic exploration work by Noranda where a\nhigher tenor copper historic resource has been documented. \n\n\nThe Company is treating this resource as purely\nhistoric, however considers it indicative that higher copper grades\nmay exist in this area. A complex pattern of folding together with\nnumerous EM conductors, suggests that both the stratigraphy and\nmineralized horizons are folded potentially creating exploration\nopportunities in structurally modified areas such as fold hinges and\nsheared fold limbs. Maxwell plates together with the 3D inversion will\nbe used to plan and r...
