("Sirit") (TSX: SI), a\nleading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, today\nintroduced the European (ETSI compliant) version of its market leading\nIDentity MaX UHF RFID reader for use in secure parking and vehicle access\ncontrol deployments.\n\n\nOffering superior performance characteristics, the European version of\nthe IDentity MaX' integrated reader and antenna design operates at the 865-868\nMHz band and delivers solid Automatic Vehicle Identification ("AVI")\nperformance for single-lane read applications.\n\n\nEncased in a weather-proof enclosure, weighing approximately 5.5 kg and\nmeasuring 31 centimetres by 25 centimetres, the IDentity MaX fits into the\nsmallest installation footprints and seamlessly integrates into commercially\navailable third party access systems. With Power over Ethernet capabilities, a\nsingle cable can carry both power and data communications making the IDentity\nMaX well suited for either retrofit or new facility installations.
