Sirit Wins C$4.0 Million RFID Transponder Contract

Company Maintains Solid Customer Base

TORONTO, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - Sirit Inc. (TSX: SI), a leading provider of
radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, announced today that it has
secured an order valued up to CDN $4.0 million from the Bay Area Toll
Authority ("BATA") in California. The ten-month contract calls for Sirit to
deliver RFID toll transponder technology commencing November 2005.
