(TSX: SI), a leading provider of\nradio frequency identification (RFID) technology, introduces the latest member\nof its INfinity line of embedded RFID modules, the INfinity Micro. Derived\nfrom the architecture of the Plug-n-Play high frequency (HF) modules launched\nin early March 2006, the INfinity Micro is designed to address the increasing\ntrend of mass market devices towards smaller and thinner form-factors.\nSupporting a wide spectrum of protocols including ISO 14443A/B, ISO\n15693, ISO 18000-3, INSIDE PicoTag(TM), HID iClass(R), Tagsys C320,\nFeliCa(TM), and eNFC, the INfinity Micro is ideally suited for a wide array of\nsecure transaction applications such as cashless payments, access control and\nidentity or product verification.\n\"The INfinity Micro is a natural evolution from our line of Plug-n-Play\nreaders particularly where a customer has evaluated and proven their use case\nand is ready to move to an embedded solution,\" commented Mike Allocco, Vice\nPresident, RF Solutions, Sirit Inc. \"Since the architecture is exactly the\nsame as the SDIO and USB readers, our customers can be assured that the\nperformance of their product will remain unchanged.\"\nAlong with this latest offering, Sirit has entered into a collaboration\nagreement with AirGATE Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the \nX-Change Corporation (OTC BB: XCHC), to provide the INfinity Micro module for\nuse in the law enforcement industry and Homeland Security applications.\nAirGATE has been using Sirit's INfinity 166 module in its RFID enabled\ntelephone solution being provided through SECURUS to correctional facilities\nnationwide and plans to migrate the solution to utilize the new INfinity Micro\nmodule.
