("Sirit") (TSX: SI), a global provider of radio frequency identification\n("RFID") technology, today announces the release of the IDentity 4100 fixed\nposition reader and the IDentity 3100 desktop reader to its line of leading\nUHF reader products. In addition, Sirit releases ten new HF and UHF inlays to\nits large portfolio of specialized tag designs.\n\n\nThe IDentity 4100 ("ID4100"), a high-performance, fixed position reader\nhas been designed to target applications with extreme conditions offering a\nsuperior balance of price and performance. The ID4100 reader can be used in\nmany applications including asset tracking, supply chain systems, access\ncontrol and parking. The powerful UHF integrated reader and antenna system\noffers a weather resistant enclosure designed to survive the most demanding\ntemperature and humidity requirements, delivering a high performance solution\nfor the global marketplace.\n\n\nThe IDentity 3100 ("ID3100") is a desktop reader developed for verifying\nand commissioning a variety of transponder form factors with ease of use and\nspace constraints in mind. The ID3100 offers a compact design featuring an\nintegrated linearly polarized antenna which is powered via the USB connection\nto a host computer. An optional external power supply is available for\nextended read/write range.\n\n\nBoth readers offer worldwide regulatory operation, in addition to the\nextended functionality of the custom command set for NXP UCODE(TM) G2XM and\nG2XL tags. The remaining three new inlays are HF\nproducts available with 15693 and Mifare(TM) chips designed with a focus on\nsmaller form factors for high value and reusable products.
