(TSX: SI), a leading provider of\nradio frequency identification (RFID) technology, announced today that its\nBoard of Directors has named David W. Andrews to the post of Chairman of the\nBoard to replace William W. Staudt effective immediately. Mr. Andrews joined\nthe Board in April 2005 and currently serves as a member of the Compensation\nCommittee and as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.\nMr. Andrews has 27 years of management and executive experience in the\ntechnology sector with Fortune 500 companies including Compaq, Tandem and\nUnisys, as well as a number of Canadian technology companies. Mr. Andrews is\ncurrently the Chairman of the Board of Coss Systems Inc., a global provider of\nsoftware solutions for the manufacturing marketplace. From 2000 through \nmid-2003, Mr. Andrews was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer\nof OnX Enterprise Solutions Inc. and from 1998 through 2000; Mr. Andrews was\nthe Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of\nInsystems Technologies Inc.
