Investee Company Update - Emergent Entertainment

RiverFort Global Opportunities plc (AIM: RGO) announces that it has received notification from its investee company Emergent Entertainment Ltd ("Emergent"), that Emergent is engaging with insolvency advisers and is anticipated to be shortly placed into liquidation.

Based on the Company's net asset value as at 30 June 2023 as set out in the Company's interim accounts ("NAV") of 1.3 pence per ordinary share, the Emergent investment represents approximately 8.5% of this NAV. However, It should be noted that, based on the NAV adjusted for the current carrying value this investment, the Company is still trading at around 32% of its NAV. 

The information contained within this announcement is deemed by the Company to constitute inside information as stipulated under the Market Abuse Regulations (EU) No. 596/2014 as it forms part of UK Domestic Law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 ("UK MAR").
