[{"type":"text","content":"\n Caldwell Investments PLC\n09 January 2006\n\n\n 9 JANUARY 2006\n\n CALDWELL INVESTMENTS PLC\n ('Caldwell' or 'the Group')\n\n INITIAL ORDER FOR NINASUN FURNITURE\n FROM MAJOR CATALOGUE RETAILER\n\n\n\n\nThe Board of Caldwell, the AIM listed creator of the 'NinaSun' patented range of\nsolar protection products, is pleased to announce today that it has received an\norder for its NinaSun furniture range from online mail order company Grattan -\none of the UK's big five catalogue retailers.\n\n\n\nThis is a significant win for Caldwell both as an indicator of the long-term\npotential of NinaSun and in terms of progress in marketing the NinaSun canopy.\nAlthough the size of the initial order is small relative to Group turnover, the\nendorsement of Grattan is of particular importance to Caldwell, as it\nillustrates the viability of the product and enhances NinaSun's profile opening\nthe gates for further order wins.\n\n\n\nThe NinaSun canopy for outdoor furniture is a unique portable protective canopy\nthat reflects harmful UV rays and provides cool comfort while sitting out in the\nsun. The canopy is made of a sophisticated woven polyester yarn designed to give\n90% sun protection (SPF10) at a competitive price. The fabric also allows most\nwind to pass through and the high-tenacity polyester yarn reinforcement resists\ntearing. All of the products in the NinaSun furniture range come with\ndetachable canopies.\n\n\n\nThe NinaSun furniture range includes sturdy deckchairs, chairs, steamers and\nloungers together with complementary outdoor tables. Grattan has ordered the\nNinaSun canopy deckchair with armrest, which will appear in its Spring/Summer\n2006 catalogue.\n\n\n\nGrattan offers a selection of the latest exciting fashion items for women, men\nand children, as well as competitively priced top branded electrical, home\nfurnishing, DIY and outdoor products.
