Netcentric Systems PLC 8 January 2001 Netcentric Systems Plc ('Netcentric') announces contract win with Workthing.com, part of the Guardian Media Group Netcentric, a provider of web content management software and services, is pleased to announce that workthing.com, part of the Guardian Media Group, has chosen its Lychee software. Lychee will be used to power the web content management process behind workthing.com's employment network and information exchange. Lychee will replace an existing system that was developed in-house. Launched last year, workthing.com is the first UK website dedicated to the creation of a complete employment network. It provides information, advice and a recruitment service for everyone involved in the work arena and covers fifteen separate business sectors. Workthing.com has 17,500 job-seekers registered and currently has over 3,000 vacancies, including positions with industry giants such as British Airways and Vodafone.
