[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, March 19, 2012 /CNW/ - Tinka Resources Limited (the \"Company\"), (TSXV - TK; Frankfurt - TLD;\n Pinksheets -TKRFF), announces the results from hole CDD22 testing the northern extension of\n Zone 1 on the Company's wholly-owned Colquipucro silver-zinc property,\n west-central Peru. The hole was drilled along the westernmost line of\n the known resource.\n\n\nMr Carter said: \"We continue to be extremely pleased with the results\n from the drilling at the northern extension. Hole CDD22 is the second\n hole on the westernmost line, and along with CDD21 (see press release\n dated March 13, 2012 and attached cross section 332600E) substantially\n increases the area of mineralization to the north of the existing\n resource. Drilling is continuing at Zone 1, testing the northern\n extension, and results will be released as they become available.\"\n\n\nHole CDD22 intercepted oxidized, banded, \"zebra-stripe\" sandstone and\n progressed into the underlying sedimentary breccia, greywacke,\n siltstone and fluidized sulphide unit. The hole would have intercepted\n the high grade veins/faults/gossan zones within the sandstone at a\n shallow angle to the dip of the hole, while the intervening\n fracture-controlled mineralization in the sandstone was intercepted at\n about 30 to 40 degrees to the inclination of the drill hole, on\n average. The orientation of the mineralization within the underlying\n sedimentary breccia is not clear, however, narrow zones of intense\n oxidation suggest that the mineralized structures in the overlying\n sandstone may penetrate the underlying unit.\n\n\nSignificant mineralized intervals, using a 15 g/t Ag cut-off, are shown\n below:\n\n\nHole #\n\n\n Easting (m)\n\n\n Northing (m)\n\n\n Elevation (m)\n\n\n Azimuth (deg)\n\n\nDip\n  (deg)  \n\n\n From (m)\n\n\nTo\n  (m)  \n\n\n Interval (m)\n\n\n Ag (g/t) \n\n\n CDD22 \n\n\n332593\n\n\n8847975\n\n\n4369\n\n\n360\n\n\n-60\n\n\n12\n\n\n68\n\n\n56\n\n\n80.1\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n70\n\n\n80\n\n\n10\n\n\n57.4\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n82\n\n\n86\n\n\n4\n\n\n80.6\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n ...
