(TNM - TSX Venture), (\"Trillium\") is pleased to announce results from the Spring 2012 drill program over the Vanguard Property (the \"Property\"), 100km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.  Trillium drilled 4 holes with a total of 501m over the Vanguard East showing, testing historical holes for VMS-style alteration and massive sulphides.  The Vanguard Property consists of 16 claims totalling 1,344 hectares within the Shebandowan greenstone belt.\nHighlights include:\n* 0.15% Cu over 3.17m, including 0.16% Cu over 2.00m in VE-12-01.\n* 0.30% Cu over 0.50m, and 8,400ppm Zn over 8.50m including 11,998ppm over 1.50m and 32,584ppm over 1.50m in VE-12-02.\n* 0.69% Cu over 2.88m with 2,415ppm Zn, including 2.2% Cu with 7,402ppm Zn over 0.88m.\nDrill results have confirmed historical results and the presence of massive sulphides at depth, initially drilled by Allegheny Mines and Canadian Golden Dragon in 1997/1998 and 2003, respectively.  Values intercepted by Allegheny Mines over Vanguard East included 2.46% Cu, 5.74% Zn and 0.170 oz/ton Au within the massive sulphide lenses.\nThe Vanguard Property lies within the Shebandowan greenstone belt, historically known to host VMS-style mineralization throughout the Shebandowan-Kashabowie area.  The Property itself consists of a large 5x2km rhyolite dome which dominates the western portion of the Property (Vanguard West).  The eastern portion of the Property is mainly altered metamorphosed mafic to intermediate volcanics, often fragmental.\nVanguard East drilling was concentrated in the mafic metavolcanics.  Mineralization is interpreted to be concentrated in a zone steeply dipping to the southeast, where the mineralization is mostly concentrated within quartz stringer zones several metres thick, with abundant pyrite and observable chalcopyrite.  These stringer zones often indicate the nearby presence of massive sulphide lenses which were intercepted in two holes, however the stringer zones themselves have returned most of the economical results.\n-***-\n----------------------------------------...
