Trillium Announces Dr. Elliot Strashin to Acquire More Stock

Thunder Bay, Ontario CANADA, August 30, 2012 /FSC/ - Trillium North Minerals Ltd. (TNM - TSX Venture),

In compliance with the requirements of National Instrument 62-103, Dr. Elliot Strashin, President of Trillium North Minerals Ltd., announces that he is intending to purchase common shares of the Corporation on the open market and/or through private placement amounting up to 2% of the issued capital of the Corporation. Purchases would be made through the facilities of TSX Venture Exchange at prevailing market prices or in compliance with the requirements of the exchange, and be at the discretion of the purchaser. Purchases would not commence until 5 days after the date hereof and would cease on the date that is 6 months thereafter.


Dr. Strashin currently holds together with all joint actors 21,082,864 common shares of Trillium (of which he holds 2,313,847 common shares directly and 18,769,017 common shares indirectly) representing 26.69% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Trillium. Dr. Strashin together with all joint actors hold their Trillium common shares for investment purposes and may in the future acquire additional securities of Trillium, dispose of some or all of  their current holdings in Trillium, or maintain their current holdings in Trillium.
