(TNM - TSX Venture),(\"Trillium\") has commenced a six hole, 2000m drill program on its 100% owned, 183 claim unit property, known as West Porcupine. The property is located 40 km. southwest of downtown Timmins. This property covers the western extension of the Destor Fault and associated splay faults and shears, as well as the complete geological section found in Tisdale-Whitney Townships, that host the famous Porcupine Gold Camp. The six mile long property contains iron carbonated basalts of the Tisdale Group, ultramafics and Komatiite Basalts, as well as a large quartz eye porphyry with associated molybdenum mineralization similar to the Pearl lake and Millerton porphyry zones found at the McIntyre and Hollinger gold Mines. This property contains a gold discovery made in 1994 (hole 94-18) by Hemlo Gold Mines Inc.(\"Hemlo\"),  of 43.44 grams/tonne gold over 1.5m (1.267 ounces/tonne gold over 4.9 feet) within 6.52 grams/tonne over 11.9m (0.19 ounces/tonne gold over 39 feet) at a depth of 210m vertically below surface . The assays were performed on 30 gram samples with fire assay method and Atomic Absorption finish. Another hole 95-23, 110m beneath the discovery hole intersected 20.4 g/1.8m (0.6 oz gold /6 ft.).    The aim of the present drill program will be to trace the gold zone to depth and determine the dip, strike and plunge of the gold zone, as well as the true nature of the silicified host rock in which the discovery was made. Follow up of another intercept(hole 94-13)  400m west of hole 94-18, will also be carried out, which  intersected 21 g gold / tonne over 1.3 m (0.6 oz/4.1 ft.).  In addition to the silicified zone, other more classic quartz-ankerite veins and shear hosted mineralization are known to occur above and beyond the 94-18 intersection. The variety of gold structures is typical of the Porcupine Camp where over 70 million ounces of gold have been produced. The presence of sheared basalt hosted gold mineralization is typical of the Bell Creek deposit in Hoyle Township on the northeast end of the Porcupine Camp. The quality control on the drilling and assaying will be supervised by Robert Middleton, P, Eng, who is acting as the qual...
