(TNM - TSX Venture),announces the appointment of Lorne Gertner, to its Board of Directors.  Lorne graduated from the University of Toronto School of Architecture in 1982 and became an Institute-Certified Director from the Rotman School of Management in 2010.Mr. Gertner is currently the CEO of New Urban Developers, an urban development company focused on downtown Toronto and is a partner in Quadrangle Architects Ltd.  He is also the Chairman of Hill & Gertner Capital Corporation, an investment banking company specializing in the retail and merchandising sector. It has been involved in over $1 billion worth of transactions in the retail sector; most notably Eaton's, Dylex, and Hip Interactive.  He is currently on the board of Mercer Gold Corporation and the Vice-chair of the Fashion Design Council of Canada (LG Fashion Week), the Design Exchange and The Gertner Family Charitable Foundation. He is currently on the Advisory Board of Ryerson University School of Fashion.  He previously served on the board of Bayview Public Ventures, Cynapsus Therapeutics Inc., Lonsdale Public Ventures, CAMH, the UJA Fashion Division, the Canadian Turnaround Management Association and the Mount Sinai Board of Governors.
