[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 3731R Digital Barriers plc 25 October 2013  \n \n\nRNS \n25 October 2013 \n \n \nDigital Barriers plc \n \n(\"Digital Barriers\")\n \nInternational Business Progress\n \n-     Asia-Pacific sale & Middle East trial -\n \nThe Board of Digital Barriers plc (the \"Group\"), the specialist provider of advanced surveillance technologies to the security and defence sectors, is pleased to announce the sale of its first video management solution into a major public transportation network, with an initial contract from a flagship Asia Pacific government customer. \n \nThe contract, valued at approximately £0.75 million, is expected to be fulfilled during the course of this financial year and next, and lead to follow-on orders with the same customer. The contract represents a significant early reference for the Group's newly launched video management capabilities within the transportation sector. \n \nThe Group is also pleased to announce that it has secured a paid trial of its TVI video surveillance hardware into a significant new government customer in the Middle East. The contract is to trial live video streaming from IP cameras on law enforcement vehicles. The Group's recently launched TVI IP-Series has the same market-leading bandwidth efficiency as its existing analogue TVI product range. This deployment will be on a new 4G network and the customer evaluated multiple technologies before selecting TVI for an operational trial ahead of a planned wider deployment .
