[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 9880E Thor Mining PLC 25 July 2016 \n\n \n \n \n25 July 2016\n \nTHOR MINING PLC\n \nAPPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR\n \nThe Board of Thor Mining Plc (\"Thor\" or the \"Company\") (AIM, ASX: THR), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gervaise Heddle as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect.\nSydney-based Mr Heddle is an experienced investor and market commentator, an Executive Director of Greatland Gold PLC and the Founder and Managing Director of Bletchley Economics, through which he provides investment consulting services. Mr Heddle was a Division Director of Macquarie Bank and a Fund Manager and Director at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Gervaise is a CFA charterholder and has extensive financial markets experience.\n \nMr Heddle currently holds no interest in the ordinary share capital, or other securities, of Thor.\n \nMr Mick Billing, Executive Chairman of Thor commented: \"Gervaise Heddle adds significant commercial and finance sector depth to the board of Thor.
