Such options were issued to the executor of the late Dr Barry Furr OBE , a scientific consultant to the Company between 2011 and 2014 and a former Chief Scientist of AstraZeneca. The options were granted under the 2011 Share Option Plan and have an exercise price of 5 pence per share. Accordingly, the Company has issued 272,000 new Ordinary Shares of 0.25 pence each (\"New Ordinary Shares\"). The New Ordinary Shares rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued Ordinary Shares. Application has been made to admit the New Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM and dealings in these shares are expected to commence at 8:00am on 14 January 2016. On admission, the Company will have 73,142,862 shares in issue.\nTotal voting rights\n \nThere are no shares held in treasury, therefore following the admission of the New Ordinary Shares the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 73,142,862.
