(OTC: MAAL)(“TMA”), a provider of services and distributor of products to independent insurance agencies throughout the United States, today announced that Jack Dewald, CLU,RHU, President of Memphis-based Agency Services Inc., a full-service life and health insurance brokerage agency, was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors effective January 1, 2011, replacing former Chairman Ronald D.Verzone, CFP, LTCP. Mr. Dewald was the 2010 Chair of The LIFE Foundation, a national non-profit Life Insurance consumer education and awareness organization funded by more than 140 insurance carriers and seven major national trade associations. Previously, he served as the 2003 National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) Chairman, officer of the NAILBA Charitable Foundation, President (1991) of the Memphis Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA-Memphis), and President (1987) of the Memphis Health Underwriters Association. He is an active member of his community, having served on three different boards of trustees for private schools during the past 20 years. Timothy M. Klusas, TMA’s President, stated, “Jack is a rare leader who leads by example and relies on keen business acumen to deliver results for all of the organizations to which he has belonged. Jack is also a successful business owner who understands that the foremost priority for his business is to serve the needs of his clients.” Mr. Klusas continued, “Ron initiated the Board’s thinking on a succession plan, and to his credit, he created a process that emphasizes continuity and consistency at the Board level and in the Company.” Mr. Verzone, chairman of Exeter, NH-based United Underwriters, Inc. will remain fully engaged as a member of the Board of Directors.
